REGISTRATION FEES FOR THE SCIENTIFIC PROGRAMME 

Note: ECCO Members 2023 save between EUR 250.- and EUR 400.- on their registration. Become a Member now! ECCO Members - please make sure you have paid up your ECCO Membership fee 2023 before registering (no refunds). If you pay your membership fee for 2023 by credit card online you can register straight away as an ECCO Member for the congress. If you pay by bank transfer, please allow up to 5 working days before registering as an ECCO Member.

1 Students/PhD Students registering at the Affiliate Member Congress fee must upload a certificate of their Student/PhD Student status during the registration process. The Y-ECCO Membership apply for young medical doctors when the Affiliate Membership is open to a holder of a post-graduate non-medical degree professionally affiliated with the field of IBD (e.g.: dietitian, pharmacist, psychologist) who is not an industry representative. If no certificate is being uploaded, the registration process cannot be completed.
2 Nurses registering at the Nurse Non-Member Congress fee must upload a certificate of their current nurse status and registration number during the registration process. If no certificate is being uploaded, the registration process cannot be completed.
3 Students/PhD Students and holders of post-graduate non-medical degree professionally affiliated with field of IBD (e.g.: dietician, pharmacist, psychologist) may register for the Affiliate Non-Member Congress fee. All delegates registering at this fee must upload a certificate of their professional status/Student or PhD Student status during the registration process. If no certificate is being uploaded, the registration process cannot be completed.
4 Patient Advocates registering at this fee must upload a proof of their membership of a Patient Advocate Association during the registration process. If no certificate is being uploaded, the registration process cannot be completed. Please note that you might not have access to industry sponsored satellite symposia.
5 All exhibitors (industry representatives) will be charged an exhibitor congress fee giving them access to the exhibition hall, industry sponsored satellite symposia, congress abstracts and certificate of attendance.

Please be aware a group handling fee of 4% will be charged on top of the group congress fee.

ECCO'23 Congress Registration will be open until Saturday March 4, 2023. We highly recommend to register on our website only! 

ECCO Membership (paid membership fee 2023) is a pre-requisite for a majority of the offered educational activities (exception: Advanced ECCO: EduCational COurse for Industry). To become an ECCO Member or to renew your ECCO Membership for 2023, please click here.

Please register for these educational activities in advance within the online ECCO Congress registration. Note: To register for the Advanced ECCO: EduCational COurse for Industry, please contact the ECCO Office at ecco23@ecco-ibd.eu.

The number of participants for educational activities is limited. Registration will be on a first come, first served basis.

ECCO INTERACTION: HEARTS AND MINDS

ECCO Interaction: Hearts and Minds at Øksenhallen: Tickets will be on sale as of January 2023.

VIRTUAL VIEWING HUB

This is not foreseen for ECCO'23 Congress. The registration is not set up for this scenario, delegates must use their unique login details to watch the Scientific Programme and claim their Certificate of Attendance and CME Credits accordingly.

DEADLINES

Please read carefully our TERMS OF CANCELLATION:

A cancelled registration can be taken over by another participant (name change) free of charge until February 8, 2023.

In case you do not want to transfer your registration to another participant, the following fees apply:
- cancellation by December 7, 2022 a refund of 50% of your registration fee is granted.
- cancellation after December 7, 2022 no refund can be granted.

All the sessions of the Scientific Programme will be live transmitted with the possibility to post questions. The content will be recorded and available afterwards on demand for all registered delegates until June 4, 2023.

ONSITE REGISTRATION

The 18th Congress of ECCO will take place March 1-4, 2023 in Copenhagen. 

Participants who would like to register onsite are advised to arrive early. The registration counter will be located in Hall E in the Bella Center.

Please note that in order to pick-up a pre-paid ticket, the passport/ID of the delegate must be shown at the registration desk.

Please note that we solely accept VISA and Master Card as payment method for either Memberships and/or Congress registrations. 
Cash payments are accepted solely in Euro.
Other currency as well as other credit cards will not be accepted.

LIABILITY & DISCLAIMER

ECCO reserves the right to retain the entire registration fee in the event that ECCO Congress cannot be held or must be moved or changed due to “Force Majeure" meaning an event beyond the reasonable control of ECCO, which prevents ECCO from complying with any of its obligations, including but not limited to pandemic or epidemic situation and other major risk.

If the IT suppliers and utility providers are prevented from making the scientific programme available online to the delegate or if the organiser cannot organise the congress in the event of war, mobilisation, disasters, severe weather conditions, strikes, lock-outs, governmental lock-down in Denmark, fire, official prescriptions, explosions, acts of terrorism or other circumstances of Force Majeure" outside the organiser´s control or influence, irrespective of when it occurs, then the organiser cannot be held liable by the delegate. The organisers are acting as agents.

The delegate acknowledges that they have no right to sue the organisers for damages should the Congress not be held or postponed for unexpected political, economic reasons and "Force Majeure". If you are not able to attend the congress, recorded live transmission of the Scientific Programme will be available in the ECCO Portal on demand until June 4, 2023.

ECCO shall not be liable for disruptions in data transmission caused by technical errors or configuration problems on the delegate’s side.

It is the duty of the delegates to ensure that they have an ECCO Account, checked in with their personal login details in the ECCO Portal before the start of the ECCO Congress if they want to access the live transmission.

A delegate at the ECCO Congress can choose to share personal information as well as personal opinion in public debates with the other delegates. The content of all postings and the contribution to public debates is solely the responsibility of the delegate who chooses to actively share information. The congress organiser cannot be held liable for this posted content, while the Congress organiser reserves the right to edit, rectify or delete postings of delegates for good faith or legal reason.

Only written arrangements are binding. With your registration you authorise the organiser to use all registration data given in the registration form for the computerised handling of the congress and further communication with all respective suppliers.

Please note that due to current sanctions restrictions we are obliged to perform additional due diligence and compliance activities. In accordance with the current sanctions restrictions additional information is required, especially regarding (dual-)citizenship or residency in one of the following countries:
